I didn't realize it had been so long since I updated this thing. October 15th already. Well then, what's been going on? It's been a pretty normal week punctuated by a typical borderline hell on earth weekend visit to my in-laws house. Normally I'd rather schedule a root canal, but it was the mother-in-law's birthday so what the heck.

My car is falling apart at the seams piece by piece. Another way to look at it is that piece by piece my car is becoming brand new as I replace each part. In the last month I've replaced the starter, alternator and now the thermostat with possibly the water pump to come.

My son is absolutely obsessed with The Lord of the Rings. So much so that it's getting kiiiiiiiinda annoying. Everything is hobbit this or he answers questions with lines from the book or whatever. They're much cuter when they're unconscious.

In the employment world nothing too much is going on. OWAAG has taken to trying to get me to do her work for her. I rather enjoy the look on her face when I just start laughing at her. It's like a mix of.....he's laughing at me....and.....pretending it was a joke.
